February 9, 2026 Doing The Work Of The Call

What will surface as their calling?
Can you describe your own?
Listen.
If tiuvtake a deep breath, can you hear it – the calm voice inside your racing heart?
When you feel overwhelmed, confused, scared …
when your breath feels tangled like a windstorm,
can you hear Him still?
That steady Voice.
Strong.
Sure.
Holy thunder, low and firm calling in the nearness.
The job feels heavy.
The work feels too big for someone like you and me.
And yet – here we are again.
Back at the place that needs our hands,
our feet,
our heart.
Maybe for a lifetime.
Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” 1 Chronicles 28:20 CSB
Your bones remember Him.
They whisper with His Spirit.
You know how He moves.
And sometimes we laugh a little … serious faith mixed with humor … that He would choose someone like you…
like me…
for work like this.
Really, God?
Yes. Really.
He gave the gift.
He made the call.
He will stay.
So take a breath.
Be strong.
Be brave.
And begin.
In His Love and Light,
Angie
