Some days we forget the quiet power we carry.

My daughter-in-law was telling me about how tears translate to intelligence – those who cry feel things at a deeper level and that is a rare gift. I told her as much as I cry I must be a genius! Haha!

I have reached out through the years to say “will you pray for me?”

And, when I get a text from someone that says … “will you pray for me?” I do not take that lightly. I’ve been on the receiving end of the answered prayers of my warriors and know the victory or at least the peace that comes there. We move through routines, conversations, and texts –  unaware that our presence leaves a residue. Yet Scripture gently reminds us:

“For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established.”

 Romans 1:11

Paul wasn’t chasing applause or platforms. He was longing to leave people stronger than he found them.

Established.

Encouraged.

Steadied.

How many times I have experienced that from your sweet prayers on my behalf? That same invitation rests on us.

Our lives  … our listening, our words, our prayers whispered under our breath … y’all – they matter – more than we realize. God has placed spiritual gifts inside you and me on purpose, not to hoard, but to hand off.

Sometimes we enter a room needing support. Other times, we are the support.

Today, notice this:

Who might God be inviting me to strengthen – simply by showing up?

You and I – we don’t have to be loud to be life-giving.

We only have to be willing.

Go give hope.

It’s already in you.

In His Love and Light,

Angie
