February 7, 2026 Dreams and Doubts

Smoked out before they ever catch flame.
Discounted.
Doubted.
Delayed.
Hard work laid out carefully, only to feel like the air got thick … like hope inhaled too much smoke.
Life does that sometimes. Pressure comes from every side. Effort doesn’t bring ease. Faith feels foggy when outcomes don’t match obedience, doesn’t it. And … we wonder if the fire got drowned out.
“there are many enemies, but we are never without a friend; and though badly hurt at times, we are not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:9 GNT
But smoke doesn’t mean the flame is gone.
It means something is still burning.
God has always worked in the heat … not to consume us, but to reveal what cannot be destroyed. What feels like suffocation is often preservation. What feels like delay is often protection.
Know that God is in every event – every situation – He is for you and me, not against us – and is actively
revealing,
preserving,
protecting.
At this very moment.
In His Love and Light,
Angie
