April 2, 2026 Let it be so

Voices raised.
Accusations thrown like stones.
And, He did not fight back.
He could have.
But, He simply “let it be”.
Even Peter – so close, so trusted – misstepped.
Even Judas – one of the chosen, so very loved – betrayed Him with a kiss.
And, today … it still happens.
Not from strangers out there in the distance,
but from the ones who have sat at our table.
The ones who know our heart.
That kind of hurt lands different.
It lingers.
Will I harden?
Will I defend?
Will I return wound for wound?
Or will I stay like Him … steady … anchored … held?
“Father, forgive them…” Luke 23:34
There is a quiet strength in not striking back.
A holy covering that comes when we entrust it to Him.
Not because it doesn’t matter – but because He does.
When it gets personal – and it will, remember this:
You are not unguarded.
You are not unseen.
And, the same God who stood with His Son stands with you… even here.
Let Him be your defender. Take it to the cross, and leave it there.
In His Love and Light,
Angie
