January 10, 2026 The Bounty of Enough

I used to think I needed more time. There was always a deliberate push to fill all the margins of my day with more, more, more. And … never enough time to meet the expectation.

I notice now how joy shows up in the margins, when I allow myself to ponder instead of push and worry – the most creative ideas validate and turn strong. Growing from good to great.
When I linger a little longer.
When I give something simple away.
When I choose presence over productivity.

There’s a rhythm to it that feels lighter than striving.

Jesus says it plainly: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” John 12:24 (ESV)
That verse doesn’t feel heavy to me anymore.
It feels hopeful.
It blooms and spreads. Miraculous, actually.

Because … I notice, when I stop holding time so tight and … trust myself by giving time to give, God turns those small moments into something bigger, better, and full of life.

What’s let go doesn’t vanish.
It multiplies.

Time given becomes time redeemed … resources given become resources redeemed … offerings bloom bigger than expected … it feels like loss turns into fuller life.

God’s economy doesn’t make sense. But it is so real. So very, very real. So unexpected.

Noticing how … when my hands open, time loosens its grip.
That the crease between my eyebrows relaxes.
That love stretches the hours.
That giving forward is never wasted.

All from the ponder moments.

Maybe the secret isn’t in stuffing each hour with overloaded, data-driven tasks … but getting back to trusting God enough in the margins to spend them well. Then – witnessing the intense bounty of being enough for Him and His Kingdom.

Live right there.

In His Love and Light,
Angie
