January 17, 2026 Ask God Again

That doesn’t make sense. But, it is true. So, they have to keep asking, keep problem solving through the process. Those that keep on asking questions and keep on doing the work are the ones that actually make it to the “yes”.
Fortitude means “stick-to-it-iv-ness”. Those with the audacity to get back up and keep chipping at the process are the ones who succeed.
How many times have you asked for something only for it to remain ‘unfinished’?
Still asking.
It seems easier to just give up and think “it is just not part of God’s plan for me”.
All of life is kinda like that.
A nudge.
A start.
A dream.
A “no” or “not yet”.
God does not tire of our asking. He welcomes it. He adores it. In the asking, we are dying to self, and acknowledging our need for and dependence and awe of Him.
His ways.
His timing.
“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James 1:5 (NLT)
That verse feels like an open door. Not a lecture. Not a sigh. An open hand.
When life feels layered and decisions feel heavy, you and me are not expected to know it all. We are invited to ask.
To pause.
To trust that wisdom is not earned by striving but received by asking.
To me, there is peace in remembering this … we are not bothering God. We are believing Him.
Before the noise this morning,
before the opinions,
before spiraling into the chaos – ask God. Ask Him again.
Wisdom will come.
God will lead.
Grace will follow.
And … His Holiness will meet you right where you are.
His ways are right.
In His Love and Light,
Angie
