April 15, 2026 Just Start

Most of them have overcome a mountain just to reach out and make the appointment to talk about it – fear throttles us doesn’t it? We can talk ourselves into backing out just by thinking – I’m not enough.
Ready enough.
Smart enough.
Certain enough.
Those who make it happen don’t wait for ‘ready’. Just as days at our home don’t wait for ‘ready’.
Cows need fed.
Gates need opened.
Troughs need moved. Something stubborn gets fixed.
And, we must show up …
not polished,
not planned
… just present.
And somehow, that’s enough to begin.
There’s a quiet battle that starts the moment we hesitate. A whisper that says, not yet …not you (!) … not now. It sounds reasonable. Responsible, even, (right?!).
But that is resistance dressed up real pretty like.
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
Think about it – fear freezes.
Faith moves.
You don’t need a perfect plan to take a small step. You don’t need full clarity to carry a calling whether your call is to build a cathedral, or to stop in and visit a friend. You don’t need confidence to begin – you gain it by beginning.
That tug on your heart? That idea that won’t leave you alone?
It’s not there to tease you.
It’s there to trust you.
Because you trust in your Maker, The God of the Angel Armies, God Most High.
Start small.
Start scared.
Start steady.
Because the moment you move, something shifts. Courage comes. Strength settles. And, the God that planted that seed meets you right there … in the middle of your messy, meaningful beginning.
So go ahead. What have you been hesitating to start? Start before you’re ready. Lean in on God’s ways for your follow-through. Today is a good day to begin.
In His Love and Light,
Angie
