Power of Small

Over the past years, God has been teaching me to notice the small things.
That may not sound like much, but it has changed me.
I’ve always been more of a big-picture thinker. I see where we’re going long before I see what’s right in front of me. Details are something I have to intentionally slow down for.
So that became my prayer.
“Father, help me notice the small things.”
“Lord, show me the details that I usually miss.”
I’ve discovered that’s often where God does His best work.
When I look back on the big moments in my life, I can see so many small mercies that quietly carried me there.
A conversation.
An unexpected delay.
A door that closed.
A kindness I almost overlooked.
He rarely changes our lives all at once, does He? More often, He fills the overlooked places – one gentle grace at a time – until one day, we realize our hearts are overflowing.
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” Luke 16:10
Think about it – and carefully notice the power of small things.
A tiny corner.
A simple cross.
A quiet reminder.
When life feels loud and overwhelming, I think the smallest spaces often hold the biggest peace.
Maybe that’s because His grace has always loved to bloom in the places we nearly miss.
A tiny corner where sunlight spills in.
Last summer’s worry that somehow quietly went away on a prayer.
The air we breathe in – fueling you and me to be here for each other.
The power of small is the most beautiful blessing of all.
In His Love and Light,
Angie
