October 23, 2026 Holy Spirit in the smallest places

Behind a little coop door.
Along a dirt road.
In our attic.
In the kitchen.
Dining room table.
Under the roof we come home to.
I want that roof to shelter more than furniture and familiar things.
I want our home filled with the Holy Spirit. That is important to me. That His presence is part of every inch of our home.
I want Him in my first words to Dale. In my patience when plans change. In the way I welcome someone while dishes wait in the sink and laundry needs to be done.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Galatians 5:22-25 NKJV
‘God Most High, help me to be always mindful to LIVE RIGHT THERE! Always. Always.’
Oh, how those verses bring Him close. His presence shapes your small, daily steps and mine.
A softer answer.
A sincere apology.
A phone set down so someone feels heard.
Start right where you are.
This is the beginning of a new day to be fully aware of His presence.
At the kitchen table.
Behind the steering wheel.
On a morning walk.
Getting the mail.
Whisper, “Holy Spirit, fill every space surrounding me.”
Then listen.
The next small act of love may be how His peace reaches someone under your roof. And at the very least, He will touch your heart.
You will feel Him.
In His Love and Light,
Angie
