October 3, 2026 Walking with Others

In my day job, I am a business advisor. My office is in Chickasha, while my coworkers’ offices are scattered across Oklahoma. Still, we are close. With technology, we’re in touch all the time, calling on one another’s experience each day. We share ideas, solve problems, and cheer on each other and our clients .
It’s pretty wonderful, really.
Our clients come to us with ideas and dreams, ready to grow something new … or scale to the next level … or walk through the sale of their business. And every one of those dreams is different.
One person may be opening a shop. Another may be starting a service or finding the courage to take the next step.
I suppose we all do that each day … take the next step into something unknown. What will this day hold? This weekend? Maybe you’re standing at the beginning of something, too. A dream can feel exciting one minute and uncertain the next.
I’m learning more and more how you and I don’t have to have every answer before we begin. Sometimes just taking the next faithful step and asking … or allowing others walk beside us puts us in the center of God’s plan for our lives.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬
And isn’t that what we all need? … starting something new: someone who
believes in us,
asks how it’s going,
and reminds us we don’t have to figure it all out alone.
So, how is it going with you?
In His Love and Light,
Angie
