September 30, 2026 Suffocating Unknowns

In the fall, I love the drive to work .. when some mornings, fog settles thick in the pastures. It’s so pretty – but not the thick kind where you can’t see the road .. you know the kind where you know it is there, but it closes in all around.
Suffocating.
Life can feel that way too.
Surprises throw me off … I find I’m focusing on the problem and lose sight of the road and the One who guides. You, too?
An unexpected health issue,
a closed door,
a mistake,
a change we never saw coming clouds everything.
Do you ever wonder if you waited too long or missed your chance?
You know … God can see through what we cannot.
“I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.” Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea,
a path in the mighty waters,
who brings forth chariot and horse, army and warrior;
they lie down, they cannot rise, they are extinguished, quenched like a wick:
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
The wild beasts will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches, for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people,
the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭15‬-‭21‬ ‭ESV‬‬
God has spoken these words to you and to me … especially when we lose sight and the trouble seems too big for even God to handle.
It is never too late to begin again.
He plants purpose in hard ground and bring hope out of places we thought were finished.
You may not see the whole road today. That is all right.
Take the next small step.
God is already there, waiting in the clearing.
You can trust Him here. So can I.
In His Love and Light,
Angie
