August 7, 2026 Wonderful Tiny Creatures

Remember being little and collecting ladybugs to watch them on your hands? How closely as a child did we take the time to truly look at and notice the colors and the spots and the antennae and the tiny, tiny legs – so fragile.
Not because it was special or rare, but just because it made you and me slow down for a bit in a day filled with … well, filled with to-do lists … checklists.
I don’t know about you, but I tend to rush right past the little things God made. Little blessings that totally surround me and sustain me … all the while knowing and taking for granted that the same God who placed stars across the sky … making them stay and not fall, also made tiny wings for tiny creatures.
Nothing He makes is random.
Nothing is unimportant.
You are not random.
You are so very important to His Heart … to His Kingdom – not in a way where you have a Kingdom job to do – but, in a way that you are totally loved and wonderfully made just as you are. Simply being you – a polished jewel of the Master Artist.
“O LORD, how many wonderful things you have made! You made them all with wisdom. The earth is full of your creatures.” Psalm 104:24
If God takes care of something so small, then He must also care deeply, so much deeper about you and me.
Sit with this an extra moment …
you are not invisible,
you are not forgotten,
you are not just another face.
You and your life are a masterpiece.
Let something small and amazing remind you to slow down. Take a very deep breath – and just simply marvel at life … marvel at the air filling your lungs … let a ladybug gently tell you that God is still at work, even in quiet ways.
And … if He looks after the smallest parts of His world, you can trust Him with your whole life. Every detail.
Mmm.
Whatever life holds today … huge or tiny … you and I can trust Him here.
We are called to trust Him here.
In His Love and Light,
Angie
