October 5, 2026 God’s Got A Plan

I woke up in the early hours when thoughts spin out of control, thinking about loose ends.
Need to’s.
Should do’s.
Ought to’s.
All the plans I had on Friday night … well – that list didn’t even make it out of my purse!
The weekends just fly.
And, the list remains.
Maybe you need to hear this as much as I need to process it.

‘Come to Me’ was the song that erupted in the middle of my brain storm.

You have done enough.

That thing you didn’t finish?
It can wait.

That problem you keep turning over in your mind?
You don’t have to figure it out today. Everything is figureoutable. And, God reveals the answers in His time.

We carry so much.
Our families.
Our work.
Our worries.
The people we love.
And somehow we start believing … if we don’t hold it all together, it might all fall apart.

But Believer, God never asked us to carry everything. He never asked us to be someone else’s ‘fixer’. Instead, these are His instructions:

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 NKJV
Rest is not just throwing up our hands and doing nothing … rest is saying …

“God, I trust You with what I can’t finish or fix today.”

So lay it down.

Tomorrow will come.

God hold what you’ve been holding … for you and for me – He holds.

Sometimes faith is moving the mountain.

And sometimes as believers, faith is trusting God enough to know He is moving the mountain while we rest in His unfathomable, unconditional, all-encompassing love.

He’s got a plan.
His ways are right.

In His Love and Light,
Angie
